Update on Life with Grace

So Gracie told me yesterday that she really wishes her dad was Santa Claus and that I was Mrs. Claus, cause then she and Maddie could be elves and we could all live at the north pole and get toys whenever we wanted. Of course she said this all so sadly, like she was really depressed that it wasn't true.

Also, she has started a new habit, she loves to wear two different shoes. The other day she had on the cutest matching outfit with tights and a skirt and matching ribbons in her hair, but she insisted on wearing one pink cowboy boot and one black fake suede boot...on the wrong feet. Sometimes it's one pink cowboy boot and one tennis shoe. It usually includes the one pink cowboy boot though. Maybe she will start a new trend?

She also has her teachers (school and church) asking me what her real name is, and what we prefer them to call her. She changes her mind every few days about whether she is Grace, or Gracie. But whatever she decides, she will let you know and correct you , a little offended, every time you get it wrong. Her teachers were a little confused.
