Dentist Visit

The girls finally got their teeth cleaned...it was long overdue. The dentist gives them sunglasses to wear so the bright light doesn't bother them, then they get to take them home! Gracie was a little nervous, and pretty disappointed to hear that she has 6 cavities. 4 of them are tiny, and don't need to be filled urgently. (Good thing, because Mom and Dad can't afford that!) Two were a little bigger and will have to be taken care of next month. She did great though...she was very patient and brave!

For Maddie, it was a piece of cake...after having 7 cavities (big ones) filled a couple years ago, a cleaning was no big deal. She loved her animal print sunglasses and only has one cavity, that is in a very wiggly baby tooth so we are just going to wiggle that thing out! YAY Maddie! No other cavities! I think the sealants were really worth it!

Gracie loved feeling how smooth and "shiny" her teeth were after it was all done. She kept saying, "My teeth feel shiny". The hygienist gave her a mirror so she could see them. Here she is, checking out her new smile.
