Milking a Cow
While Tara and kids were here visiting (which was a blast!) we took all the kids to Wheeler Farm. What a fun (free!) activity. They loved it! They learned how to milk a cow...doesn't Gracie look like a little golden haired milk maiden? They loved chasing the ducks and geese and watching all the little baby chicks. I was proud of the girls for milking the cows. Their cousins wouldn't even get close, not even for bribes!

I'm impressed. It looks like Gracie's got it down. I wonder if christina feels any affinity to this photo???
She does look like a little Milk Maid. Isn't there a nursery rhyme that is something about a Milk Maid.....she makes butter for the king's bread or something? so sad to lose my memory.
but..she's precious.
